The Botany of Desire - based on the book by Michael Pollen.

The International Plant Names Index - is a database of the names and associated basic bibliographical details of all seed plants. Its goal is to eliminate the need for repeated reference to primary sources for basic bibliographic information about plant names.

Native American Ethnobotany - A Database of Foods, Drugs, Dyes and Fibers of Native American Peoples, Derived from Plants.

Linnaean Plant Name Typification Project - Carl Linnaeus (1707-1778) introduced binomial names for plants, publishing over 9,000 plant names. Since 1981 Project has been collating and cataloguing information.

London's Natural History Museum - Department of Botany - biodiversity, classification, evolution, geography, molecular systematics, conservation, and ethnobotany.

Botany Online - plant anatomy, classic genetics, organic chemistry and plant biochemistry, intercellular communication, interactions between plants, fungi, bacteria, and viruses, evolution, and a part of ecology.

Vascular Plant Types Catalog - The New York Botanical Garden has completed cataloging its approximately 90,563 vascular plant type specimens. Basic information from all types in these families has been captured in the database with digital images of over 85,000 specimens.

The American Phytopathological Society (APS) - Plant pathology online - a non-profit, professional, scientific organization dedicated to the study and control of plant diseases.

Smithsonian Institution Department of Botany - references, including taxonomic tools and regional checklists; extensive botanical links; and references.
